About Us

Our Story

Forest Edge Developments is a modular home company based in Northern Saskatchewan. Founded by Indigenous owner Tia Watt alongside partner Jonathan Watt, together bring a decade of combined experience in construction, electrical, plumbing, real estate and community development through our sister company, Mid City Electric Limited. Roots are strong in La Ronge and the surrounding communities, thoroughly understanding the unique housing challenges in the region.

Forest Edge Developments was founded with one main goal: to make quality, affordable, and dependable housing more accessible across the North. By partnering with SRI Regent Homes, one of Canada's most established modular home manufacturers, we are able to offer homes built for our climate, our terrain, and our communities. From floorplans and finishes to delivery and setup, the team guides clients through the entire process with transparency and care.

Forest Edge Developments is committed to bringing modern, efficient, and reliable housing to Northern Saskatchewan. We believe modular housing is not just a trend, it is the future of construction. Faster builds, lower costs, and better quality mean families and communities can access the homes they deserve.

Why modular?

The New Way of Building

Modular housing is rapidly becoming the preferred construction method across Canada and for good reason. Today's modular homes are stronger, faster, more energy-efficient, and often more affordable than traditional on-site built homes.

  1. Homes are built in a climate-controlled environment, meaning: No exposures to rain, snow or extreme temperatures. No weather delays or restrictions. Consistent quality control at every stage.

  2. A modular home can be delivered in a number of weeks, your foundation is prepared at the same time your home is being built, slashing delays and costs.

  3. Modular homes often exceed building code requirements for insulation, structure, and efficiency.

  4. Because modular homes are built on a production line, buyers avoid: weather delays, shortage related labour costs, construction surprises. Fixed pricing and transparency.
